'Blue' means isolation. A set of photographic illustrations conveys a story of loneliness and detachment.
'Even the most universal visual langauge can
never fully transmit artist's sensitivity onto their
audience. What it can do however is draw out
hidden feelings of their own.
To do this is my goal.'
Tomasz Wieja is a photoillustrator inspired by Rene Magritte. 'Blue' is an extended version of his graduation project.

I consider my images memories from journeys to the core of my own psyche. What I found in there was silence and nostalgia.
I see art and philosophy as two aspects of the same essence. Art operates within form. Philosophy - within though. Together, they tackle the ultimate question: what next?
I graduated from Fotoacademie in Rotterdam in 2012. I currently work as freelancer in Poland.
