A collection of photos taken one summer on the southern coast of Maine: the fog, the beaches, rocks, flowers, boats and people.
Janice worked as a staff journalist for a variety of publications, including the Whitehorse Star, in the Yukon, and The Canadian Press news service in Montreal. She has been a freelance writer for almost 25 years, writing magazine articles, non-fiction books for children, and copy for corporate newsletters. She has had a strong interest in photography all along, and has taken many workshops and courses. Lately, her interest in photography and the visual arts has been increasing. She took many of the photos for her book "The St. Lawrence River: History, Highway and Heritage", but this is her first publication dedicated to photography.
