This is the story of Leon and Lois's 2008 summer vacation. After a short stop in London to visit their son and daughter-in-law, they spent two weeks in Italy. Highlights of the trip were 4 days in Rome and a week on the Amalfi Peninsula, with side trips to Pompeii and Vesuvius, the island of Capri, the ancient Greek city of Paestum, and several villages on the Amalfi Peninsula (Ravello, Minori, etc.)
Toward the end of their visit, they went to Agnone and San Mango, two villages in Cilento (southern Italy) where Lois's grandparents lived before they came to America.
