I visited Iceland from July 18 - August 1, 2012, with a group of photographers from the US, Iceland, and India. Ten days were spent in a workshop led by Jack Graham, an outstanding photographer and teacher from Oregon, and Tim Vollmer, an excellent Iceland photographer who made all the local arrangements. We traveled in a van, covering much of the southwest, south, and southeast. Iceland is one of the top destinations for landscape photographers, and we weren't disappointed: wild, dramatic vistas, volcanoes and glaciers, icebergs and geysers, puffins and Icelandic horses, sunsets that lasted 2 hours and more. I share with you some of these amazing sights, and I hope they convey the awe and excitement I felt while there.
