A photo rich book with 6 main chapters, which guide the reader into thinking nostalgically and creating a comfortable lifestyle and homely environment, by cherishing those vintage possessions which tell a story. Everything is easy to achieve, even on a limited budget, which I felt was important. I have read books and magazines where the advice given seems rather pretentious and unachievable due to cost, or sourcing problems. I have included many of my own possessions in the photographs, to show how easy this lifestyle can be to implament.
Vintage fabrics are a passion of mine, which can be seen throughout the pages. The whole recycling ethos is as important now as it's ever been and I would hope to encourage this and to show how easy it is to reuse many of the materials that already surround us or which are available from flea markets and fairs, rather than buying new from the high street.

So glad I decided to treat myself to this lovely book. I've never seen so many photos in a volume such as this before, all beautifully arranged and wonderful colours. I admire the fact that you can live surrounded by all these items - I love to search them out to buy and sell them but I don't think I could have them on every surface and shelf !! That said, I love the book and have been trying to persuade some of my friends and fellow dealers to invest in a copy. I do hope it sells well for you - it must have been a labour of love. Although I live in Devon now, I was born just down the road from your shop so must try and come and visit you one day. Also love your website and blog etc. Hope you continue to prosper. Regards Judy.
