Babbling with Wawel’s Dragon is a smattering of lettering found congregating around flames in dimly lit caverns, house parties, and on the street corners of New York City, USA and Kraków, Poland. To write the poems was akin to making love to a ballpoint pen, capturing the curvature of a form standing erect, quite literally prostituting under provocative, neon lighting... the moment was indeed sinful (it was too good to pass by in the wee hours of the morning). To read the poems of Babbling with Wawel’s Dragon is to deliberate within true context, to understand what it means to stand upon a sidewalk’s crack (even if you know that it could be the straw that broke the camel’s back), to feel the bend and pull of polar opposites in a world dying to know truth, dying to feel unconditional love, simply trying to be in a contextual world made up of concrete and spray painted walls.
The basics of patterning, board games, and primary colors existing in mythology, cathedrals or subway trams add fodder for these distillations, and the reader can watch the unfolding, the reformation of one human amongst many in a sea of souls with growing pains.
