Through the viewfinder, I endeavor to capture the mystery and beauty hidden in the world around me. I seek to get the lens into the thick of a scene, to search out a different viewpoint; to find a new way of seeing things that are common place and often overlooked. I find that when I stay in one place and look for that different angle or perspective, my view of the world is transformed and my opportunity for seeing and thinking differently is expanded. I use the art of photography as a way of seeing my world with intention.
“Scene | Unseen” is a compilation of many years of observing the world and capturing all its simple splendors. Enjoy
I am a self-taught, semi-professional photographer working part-time in wedding and special events photography. I am also a staff photographer for the online publication, "Drum Corps World" where my work is seen on a regular basis by a global readership. My work in drum corps photography has also been seen on corporate websites and advertising campaigns for Stanbury Uniforms, Jarvis Industries and Drum Corps International.
