Note: This is the "high-definition with pictures" version.

Within Graphite & Graffiti’s bookends, the concepts of philosophizing love and humanity, mathematics, and multi-media transmogrify over the course of its pages and accompanied recordings. The goal of Graphite and Graffiti is not to satiate one’s appetite for words, rather to provoke the opposite, literally egging the reader on… in search of gluttonous wordplay in his or her daily existence. The printed text offers the most formal, poetic format, whereas a recitation affords more context to the poetry, thereby creating a deeper subtext, propelling audiences even further into the reverberating dominion of syllabic sound.

About the Author

Azalea Hazelwood
Whisperinink Silver City, New Mexico, USA

Azalea Hazelwood has flitted about the poetry scene for just a short while. Her vivid poetry tugs upon innocence and complexity, creating a unique, multi-dimensional voice in a paperbound world.

Azalea desires to see the digital age meld seamlessly with the antiqued, time-honored traditions of the literary world. And it’s easy to imagine such a space through Azalea’s poetry, where both can act in accord and in turn promote the power of the spoken and written word.
