About the Book
mouse//maze is a visual exploration of the urban environment. Playing on the metaphor of the ‘mouse and the maze,’ it questions the extent to which the urban landscape controls and restricts our movement.
It explores the idea of the city as a systematic maze controlled by a plethora of rules, signage and systems. Although these systems are designed to assist us, they sometimes confuse and frustrate us, making humans nothing but tiny mice in a huge urban maze.
