With this book, I try to bring out the beautiful nature of Madagascar to all of you. I hope you enjoy these photographs as much as I enjoyed taking them.
I had many up close and personal animal encounters which gave me memories for the rest of my life.
I was very excited when we had our first encounter with the Indri. Their behavior resembled so much of ours that it was a real treat to observe and interact with these rare primates. Other highlight from the trip was the close encounter with the Fossa, which tried to attack on me. With the luck, that situation resolved before anybody got injured.
One sad thing was to realize how poor the country is and how primitive conditions people must live every day. This lack of any infrastructure in turn is clearly visible in the nature as huge destruction of the wildlife habitat which still continues without limits. Rainforests in Madagascar are today scarce resource for any wildlife habitat.

Madagascar as a destination, made me wanting to go back...before it's all gone.
