Roy was born (1945) in Jacksonville Florida. He began his journey as an artist in Coconut Grove in the late 60’s. Roy moved to Santa Fe in 1983 and was a member of “The John Sloan Drawing Group” revived by Robert Ewing, past director of the Fine Arts Museum of Santa Fe, until moving to Truth or Consequences in 1996.
