About the Book
Vacon's portfolio of his 2008 artworks shows us a disquieting world where everything we know has mutated into something sick and slimy. Nothing is safe in his hand: even the most harmful or harmless icons (from Adolf Hitler to Mickey Mouse and Laurel & Hardy), even the common people. Maybe a metaphor of the actual crisis, maybe an intelligent game about percection and self-image, maybe both, surely an astounding journey into an universe we shouldn't pass by, if we care about ourselves.
