Photographs taken between 1975 and 2008 of downeast Maine and the Provinces of New Brunswick, Nova Scotia, and Prince Edward Island. Shot from my summer visits home from age 15 to the present, these are my memoires of spending summers in Maine and visiting the maritimes.

An artist and musician with degrees from Boston Museum School, Nova Scotia College Art and Design, Rensselear Polytechnic, and Bridgewater State College; for thirty five years I have worked in both traditional folk arts and modern electronic art (video, performance art, installation art, electronic sound arts) as well as folk music and electronic music. I served 9 years as technical director of RISD and 6 years as a technical theater director at UMASS system. My wife Sandy is a photographer as well and together we shoot occasional events. I have been a guitarist for 35 years at present but have moved to dobro, lapsteel, and other slide instruments over the past 15 years, mixing my acoustic music with my knowledge of electronic music to create a hybred of my own.
