49 poems / 93 pages Love, work, roots, family, self-awareness, and the rest of the issues I carried within, from 1984 to 1987, are recorded in this book. The book chronicles my response to things that were deep, mundane, petty, grand, moving. The following poems, together with the the book's title, define the collection for me: "Across her dark moment," "Say that it's love," "The man who escaped."
