Drawn In
In the near future most people in the world will live in or around a big city. Progress is relentless: villages turn into towns, towns into cities, cities into metropolises.
Moving there is what many did and there are many more to come. Losing their customs and habits, becoming city people. To work, to money, to freedom, and for some to fame and glory.
It's not just busy streets and wide avenues, skyscrapers and wild traffic, huge bridges and lush parks that make it irresistible. It's the people that are already there. It's their buzz that goes around the clock. It's the opportunities they create that are nowhere else.
In the city you can be big and rich and have fun. You can be anything you want. Unless, of course, things don't turn out to be like that. The city draws in, the city spits out. Dreams and reality don't measure up that often, but every city is a place of hope.
