School Administrator's Guide to Practical Handgun Training
The book is intended to assist the administrator evaluate the issues concerning equipping staff with handguns for the protection of those in the school. Concerns, issues, as well as how to proceed are addressed. The matter is discussed in a mature, sensitive, unemotional and level headed manner by an experienced police administrator and long-time firearms trainer.
This work details, with the school administrator's needs and limitations in mind, the difficult questions regarding arming school staff. Not just a "how too" book, the author, an administrator in the law enforcement field for over thirty years, offers practical and task related answers to the questions posed by this issue.
Forty years in law enforcement. Twenty in the NYPD, where I served as a sgt and lt in the Firearms & Tactics Section, conducting the NYPD Police Firearms Instructors School, Heavy Weapons Training programs as well as Research & Testing. I also served twenty as chief of police of my little Cape Cod town. I've published four books using conventional publishing houses, now trying my hand at self-publishing.
