I began to work with photography at the age of 17, using it as a surviving tool, making self-portraits. I was trying to overcome my anorexia. My Camera helped me to heal myself in creating a language stronger than my illness codes that I suffered. Overtime, I used Fine Art Photography quite differently, because my life was getting better.

Born in Paris, I've been working with self-portraits since the age of 17 until now. I needed to destroy everything of my roots, my past, to build another new identity, to fight my devastating anorexia. Now I work with a new strength and concentration in me, in order to reach harmony, equilibrium, tension with the world.
Sorrow, guilt, shame, low self-esteem have been my companions for so many years. Now I feel stronger and happier.
