70 Years of New York City Children
Josephine Herrick Project (formerly Rehabilitation Through Photography)
by "Very moving material." Andrew Solomon, author of [Far From The Tree: Parents, Children, and the Search for Identity.]
In this book, JHP shows 70 years of photographs that have been taken by or of children living in New York City.
They were able to do so through resources allotted by the Josephine Herrick Project. These children were, and some even still, are participating as students in our many programs.
Children are and have always been an integral part of our past, present and future. Who better to look to for the honest telling of a story?
When you purchase a copy of this book, all the proceeds will go directly to the current students in our programs, so they will have the ability to tell their own story through photographs. Thank you for you're generosity.
We are a non for profit that focuses in helping those without a voice communicate and express themselves artistically in their community and in society.
