About the Book
The Revolution Came And It's Gone is a photographical storyteller about an exrevolutionary red guard who live in Pingyao Old City ( Shanxi ) in China.
From 1965 to 1968 the chinese people were urged to return to the basic principles of the revolutionary movemen and enforce the comunist dogma. Mao Zedong mobilized to millions of youths workers and students called The Red Guards, their mission : to destroy anyone else suspected of being counter-revolutionary. Some were overcome in battle; others were driven into remote regions of China-all part of China's lost generation of youth.
