This book is a collection of photos of the house in which my family lived for 60 years. It catalogues an environment and objects from different eras; personal yet universal in its themes of nostalgia, memory and loss. The house was sold late 2008 and has been completely transformed.
An updated version of the book will be appearing here during 2010. An exhibition of the work will take place at the Viewfinder Gallery, London in September 2010.
Community photography projects and residencies: freelancer with Magic Me; recently completed artist residency in Newburgh, Fife; have worked with Churchill Musuem & Cabinet War Rooms, Westminster City Archives, Pendragon School, Lambeth City Learning Centre, British Film Institute. Recent personal photography projects include researching Polish Forces in Fife during WW2 and documenting my parent's house. I'm interested in capturing a sense of place and experiences within that location.
