Not everyone behind a camera is a photographer. Not everyone in front, a model. In a world where everyone is taking selfies, this differentiation has become exceedingly blurred. My view has always been out of focus. Corrective lenses-corrective attitudes, the limits of science and philosophy. Camera's simply hate me. In front or behind, focus illudes me, no matter how hard I skwint. Yuri Brut has the singular gift to not only see the world in otherwise unimagible mind blowing clarity, but also the genius to translate this through his instrument to we, the viewer. I do wish the size could have been larger. I personally would have paid more for larger dimensions. I had considered buying a single large print instead of this book. But 120 to 1? Sometimes we sacrifice quality for...
