Barbara Tripp and her family have been icons in the Bailey, Colorado community for many decades. The Tripp family is best known for the historic landmark - "Glen Isle on the Platte". This oral history recounts Barbara's life at Glen Isle and includes many photos of Glen Isle.

This "Special Memorial Edition" was originally published as a memento for the Tripp family. At their request, this publication is being offered to the public. In addition to Barbara's history, this edition contains over 30 family photographs and a reprint of The Flume article, "More that 300 gather to remember Barbara Tripp" by Doug Stevens that was published shortly after Barbara's memorial service. It is a fitting tribute to Barbara and her legacy.
