Lasata Garden was featured in the Phoenix Home and Garden Magazine and the Phoenix Home and Garden Grand Tour of Gardens. This book is a beautifully illustrated stroll through this colorful example of nirvana, and it is wonderfully narrated by Jane Lucien-Scholle. Jane, transplanted from her beloved garden in England, has received many awards and recognition both here and in England for her gardens and landscaping.
This is her story of creating a Balinese garden in the Sonoran Desert after leaving a lush green garden in England. From open space dirt, the digging and planting creating this garden served to establish new roots in a new foreign place, warmly, slowly as only Mother Earth can.
