The book documents a gallery installation of paintings and assemblage sculpture by Karen Heffner. Entering into the gallery is entering another world of remembered childhood and the artist's imagination. It was our world before we understood risk; when our experiences were more important than anything.

Creative glee describes my art. Using paintings and assemblage sculptures I transform a room/space in a gallery into a place of imagination and joy. Life is a fabulous adventure. We can live it with the fearless passion we had at 5 Life is supposed to be fun!
