One man’s account passed on through his daughter.
Her father died in 1973. She has documents, photographs, papers – testimonies to his Resistance work in Belgium and France and his flight to freedom in the hope of rejoining the war effort via Spain and one of Franco’s prisons, Portugal and then by flying boat to Ireland then England; landing in Poole on Christmas Eve 1943. From London, he continued his war.
The covers of the book enclose the story of a critical episode in this man’s life.
