I moved back to Los Angeles this past year after living in New York for 17 years. I've been wanting to shoot a personal project for some time now but just never got anything going that I was really excited about.
Living by the beach I started noticing some fantastic subjects while on walks with my dogs.
Instead of carrying my Canon 5D around I began shooting portraits with my iPhone. All of a sudden I had series going without the fuss of a production AND I got to know some great people in my neighborhood.
This book was photographed and manipulated completely on the iPhone. These little cameras take beautiful pictures. At least I think they're beautiful.
