This book takes you to the next level. Requesting records and tests, the "results" team meeting, the determination of eligibility, and the IEP development. My goal is to provide you with answers and be able to leave a team meeting with a clear understanding of what your child will receive as services/supports and placement. My hope is to empower parents through the special education process and to educate them in the protections of I.D.E.A.. Knowing your rights are your only advantage in securing the appropriate education and for your child achieving success.
Providing special education advocacy and advocacy training for parents of children with disabilities.
