Artwork and text are a compilation of drawings, paintings and computer art that Julie Miller has created over a lifetime of living with horses in areas that are full of the wonders of nature and the beauty that is abundantly available for the eye and soul.
Julie Miller has been a lifelong artist that also has a passion for all living things, but especially horses. The drawings, paintings and computer art in this book are an evolution of styles, media and subject matter that have been influenced by a life that has been led primarily in rural and agriculturally oriented parts of Northern California. She has been a horse woman since she was a small child. Her life began in Hungary where her parents were caused to flee to England during the Russian takeover of Budapest in 1956. From there Julie's family immigrated to the United States when she was seven years old. Growing up near San Francisco she was exposed to the rich cultural atmosphere but also to the semi-rural areas that still existed which sparked her desire to pursue a life with horses and art.
