This book is an experimental document which explores the non traditional relationships between humankind and the coast. It uses colour photography in an unromantic formal way. Much of the material was gathered in West Wales.
Nick Hedges has been a documentary photographer for nearly 50 years. He has worked in the field of social affairs with a number of voluntary organisations. His work is in the collections of the National Media Museum, the Victoria and Albert Museum, and is archived at the Central Library, Birmingham.
