I was recently fortunate enough to be the proud 'owner' of a Jaguar E-Type for 4 days.
This book is a collection of photographs in two sections - firstly, the car in all its glory and secondly the Devon countryside in late Autumn.
I prefer to photograph landscapes, buildings, and nature – I struggle with people shots as the subjects tend to get bored waiting for the light, or more likely waiting for me to focus on them and not the building behind them. I do tend to take a few photos of my nephew, but then he’s too young to know any better.
I shoot with a Nikon D200 typically and try to achieve the results I want in camera. That said, I like to work in mono and will also occasionally go a little extreme with Photoshop.
I have a background in theatre lighting, and I like to think this influences my choice of shots with emphasis on relying on natural lighting.
