“Hurricane Katrina: A Personal Perspective” (2005) and “Kiev at the Cross Roads” (2006) describe two very different adventures. In both, I tried to help out and make a difference. That outcome is for the reader to judge. I finish with a discourse about my encounter with Nigerians in which I am certain I made no difference at all, but it makes a good story nevertheless.
Heather Bryce is a native Texan with degrees in Electrical Engineering, Business, Anatomy, and Chiropractic. She has had a number of careers, including engineering, marketing, management, owning a Chiropractic clinic, teaching and writing. She lives in Texas with her husband, Bill, and son. She tries to escape as often as possible. Her daughter lives all over the world, but is presently in Washington D.C.
