Karyn Sassella is poet, social worker, chef and humanitarian aid worker. She has won several awards for her poetry and humanitarian work and has been published in a number of literary journals and anthologies.

Karyn has lived in Melbourne, Sydney, Brisbane, Perth, Katherine, Darwin, Nhulunbuy, Lucca, Kosovo, Timor Leste, Paris and London.
She currently lives in Hanoi.
