It’s amazing how much can change in just one year. From the time I released my first book in August 2010 to August 2011, everything in my life just disappeared. And believe me when I say EVERYTHING.

This book is more than just a collection of poems like the one before. This is the chronicle of a life that was forever changed in the blink of an eye.

We’ve all seen those silly television shows that claim to bring you along for a ride into the mind of the disturbed…

“Tonight, you will see inside the mind of the killer.”

“On today’s show, peer into the brain of the terrorist.”

“Tune in tomorrow as we examine the mastermind behind this tragedy.”

And for the next hour, we are plastered to the tube watching on in total disbelief.

So sit back, relax and start the microwave popcorn now. This is your chance to gaze into the sorrow of the broken-hearted. You can’t imagine the lengths I’ve gone to find love, to keep love and to save love. Like so many others, I always said that I gave it everything I had.
