When it comes to quality of light, nothing surpasses that which you will find on Ireland's, north-western, Atlantic shores. Being born and brought up in Inishowen therefore meant that my luck, as a photographer, started early. It’s been said that Donegal is "unparalleled in Ireland for its wild and rude magnificence"* and within Donegal, Inishowen is a landscape onto itself. Its location on the periphery of northern Europe gives rise to light conditions which mean that no scene is ever the same from, minute-to-minute, day-to-day and year-to-year. All the more reason to come back time and time again to discover yet another unique, visual wonder.
