A student photographer, currently studying at University of Goucestershire. Having lived in Cheshire since her birth in 1994, a lot of Victoria’s work is produced in or around her hometown but she always makes an effort to experiment with new places, and as such has produced work in London and Berlin. With an ambition to go into photojournalism, Victoria’s preferred style of photography is documentary; every photograph she takes is one that really illustrates a number of stories from the world’s stage. Victoria strongly believes in the Eve Arnold quote “It is the photographer, not the camera, that is the instrument” and the variety of her work, and commitment to the documentation of life around her, demonstrates her understanding of the mechanics of photography and the creativity required to imaginatively capture images almost spontaneously. Always accompanied with both film and digital cameras, Victoria consistently uses traditional methods to create her work.
