55 poems / 129 pages The poems in this collection were created in three parts of the world, as I traveled for work or visited friends. They were born in a context of isolation, when I had no one familiar to talk with, or, when I was involved with friends in too much talk, so that I had to remove myself from them. The poems record events of my existence and the emotions with which I responded to them: work, travel, memories of old loves and new. Of note, they record my reaction to a pivotal encounter with a woman who deeply affected the life change I was going through.
