About the Book
Oaxaca (Wah-ha-kah) separated from the rest of Mexico by the rugged and spectacular mountains has pursued its own destiny. The region located at the meeting point of three central valleys, is the home of large indigenous communities who have thrived to carry forward their traditions of fine handicrafts, arts, food, dress and unique lifestyle.
