At times it seems vast. At others, infinitely small. Regardless of perception, our Earth is home to seemingly endless varieties of human existence. The photographs in this book represent a selection of those lives I have been lucky enough to encounter.

Our lives play out in so many different ways. Some are considered to have more, some less, and some none at all. Throughout my travels and in moments of time my world has intersected with others, the one truth that has become most apparent to me, is that genuine happiness is not dependent on the abundance or value of our possessions. Some of the most honestly contented faces I have looked on belong to those who might be considered to have less. That is dependent upon measuring the tangible or intangible. Wealth can be broadly defined.

Every breathing soul shares the same elemental desires and necessities of humankind. It is these intrinsic commonalities wrapped in such diverse exteriors that make co-inhabiting this planet such an amazing experience, and which provide me with infinite inspiration to document our existence.
