is a tribute to Cassis and Cassidens. It is a glimpse of a little French town full of life and provincial traditions.

"Cassis, au-delà des clichés" est un hommage à Cassis et Cassidens. Cette livre est le fruit de la conjugaison d’un regard extérieur, celui d’Elena, sur une petite ville tellement caractéristique de la France selon elle, et de son expérience personnelle, vécue au fil des jours : « Je voulais à la fois montrer la vie réelle de personnes différentes, passionnées et créatives, dans le cadre d’un village pittoresque qui est depuis si longtemps une source d’inspiration pour de nombreux artistes. »

Elena Boyce is an American photographer. While modeling for world-renowned fashion photographers in Tokyo, she was inspired by their ability to create stunning images. In Japan, she began to study photography and became an established artistic photographer..
In 2011 she was invited by Mars Production to participate in France 3 television show Mission Photo and won the first prize.
In 2013, her first solo exhibition “Au-delà des clichés” was an oblique glimpse of life in Cassis, France that took almost a year to complete. In July 2013 Elena’s work was selected for the exhibition in Pavillion M during Marseille’s year as the European Union Capital of Culture. In September 2013 Elena returned with her family to US where she started her new project “Creative Life of Hampton Roads”.
