About the Book
Here's a different look at many familiar scenes, landmarks, and events mostly in and around New England. With digital photography, the fun of creating interesting images doesn't end in the camera. In fact, it often begins when the images are loaded into a computer and the vast creative capabilities of programs such as Adobe Photoshop are applied.
I specialize in New England landscape photography. My domains include Maine, New Hampshire, Vermont, the north shore of Boston (Marblehead, Newburyport, Plum Island), Martha's Vineyard, Nantucket, and Block Island, and recently, the Adirondacks in New York state. I also do "photo manipulations" — original photographs altered and enhanced using digital image editing computer programs. Results are painting-like images. As a croquet devotee, I maintain a large collection of croquet scenes and venues, from backyards to championship-caliber (6-wicket) facilities.
