Discovering a "new" photographic art form -- reflections on certain windows -- has allowed me to combine two major parts of my world, science and art. My science focus over many years has been the dominance of partnerships in nature known as "symbiosis," and global ecology. I have led trips to remote regions of the northwest Amazon and to New Zealand, and helped to prepare hundreds of students as emerging science teachers through Boston University. I have been fortunate enough to give workshops and lectures in many countries and venues. Recently, my Earth Gazes Back" photo series was exhibited at the Botanical Garden Spring Festival in magnificent Kraków, Poland, as well as at Jagiellonian University in Kraków and galleries there and in Boston. I step forward each day embracing nature and doing all that I can to help peoples become a better fit with the earth that sustains us.
