'¿HOW 'S LIFE?
WHAT 'S LIFE?
¿HOW TO LIVE?'
(Message found stencilled onto a paramilitary mural in Belfast, 2006)
I HAVE A PHOTOGRAPH. IT MIGHT HELP. contains 73 colour photographs made in locations ranging from Bodø (above the Arctic Circle) to Lanzarote (off the coast of Africa). A majority of the images are from mid-Norway, though; but could be from anywhere.
At some level the book relates, from a safe distance and among other things, to the numb aftermath of the atrocities committed in Norway on 22.7.2011, asking what is real and when and for whom, and what this means.
REVIEW: Jeff Beddow ("Zeitguy") has published a beautifully written review of I HAVE A PHOTOGRAPH. IT MIGHT HELP on his blog Human Fallout: http://humanfallout.blogspot.no/2013/05/i-have-photograph-it-might-help.html
