About the Creator
M Sarki travels with his camera, disposes literary reviews, and occasionally creates a poetic artifact. Sarki was born in East Tawas, Michigan in 1953. Besides being a poet with four collections published, M Sarki has also written a book of shorter prose (Shorter Prose) and he has a novel collection of lyrical fiction titled Stamped Against the Night as well as a fiction/ literary criticism titled Ailene Nou. His latest book, a memoir, The Mad Habit centered on his long relationship with friend, mentor, editor, and teacher Gordon Lish. Sarki also maintains and regularly contributes to his eclectic literary website aptly named the Rogue Literary Society. M Sarki has written, directed, and produced five short art films titled Gnoman's Bois de Rose, Biscuits and Striola, The Tools of Migrant Hunters, My Father's Kitchen, and Cropped Out 2010.
