Dawn and dusk are many photographers’ favourite times of the day. The light than is low and show the subject in dramatic relief. Usually the direct light is very warm in colour and the long shadows are often blue and become strong compositional elements. This colour contrast strengthens the visual drama, transforming what may have been a mundane scene into something special and a spectacular scene into something unforgeable.
