About the Book
Caged Free is about animal survival in captivity. The collection of images is reflective of unusual animal behavior. The book is written in support of organizations that educate and protect animals & wildlife that would otherwise not survive in their natural environment.
As the photographer and conservationist, Lloyd is allowed to get ‘up close & personal’ with predatory wild animals. For example, Lloyd was the first photographer on the scene in Key Largo as the volunteers of the Marine Mammal Conservatory struggled to save 88
stranded dolphins. He received worldwide
recognition for his wildlife photographs
which caught the eyes of officials at
organizations dedicated to the management
and survival of animals in danger of
Lloyd Goradesky uses the camera to capture those indelible images that express the special moments of time. Whether the focus is to capture the 'wedding kiss' between the bride and groom or the spread wings during flight of an eagle, my images demonstrate wonderful human behavior and emotion.
