"Puertas y Ventanas / Doors & Windows" is a photo journal of travels across the globe highlighting the intricacy and simplicity of doors and windows. Each unique for their size, shape, decoration and the light that filters through them. Formal and informal; old and new; famous and obscure; dramatic and ordinary -- but all possessing an eye catching moment. This book is a first in a series devoted to doors and windows.
Michael P. Westman has travelled in six continents. His love of travel and photography go hand in hand, both of which he became interested in at an early age. He studied at the University of California, Los Angeles, University of California, Irvine, and the University of Barcelona. Enamored with Spain, he travels there as much as possible, while spending the rest of his time on other treks or at his home in California. Always up for an adventure, and always with his camera, Michael still has many spots on his travel "wish list" of places to visit and photograph. Antarctica (which would make up the seventh continent) being one of them.
