This is the account of Antonisia's final year as a student at the University of East London. It details in full a comprehensive project using photomontage, paintography and other photographic styles and techniques to create a fairytale book. Alongside the practical elements, this journal also recounts details of photographers and artists who have been an inspiration to Antonisia, and important surveys and background information which enabled Antonisia to compile the project as a whole. This journal will help you to finalise and self-criticise your own photography and teach you how to improve.
Antonisia has extensively studied photography and has hosted several of her own exhibitions. Antonisia is currently working on collaborations with a number of other artists at the University of East London while also continuing to develop her own successful photography business. 2012 also sees her take a lead role in the Essex Summer of Art, taking place in the county as part of the Olympic Legacy projects. Her background has an international flavour, having been born in Brazil and travelled extensively in South America and Europe. This cultural knowledge has informed and enhanced her photography and brings a vividity and dynamism to her artwork.
