Portugal "The Algarve"
by Mireille Fabre de la Grange
About the Book
My only aim is to show but a few of the multiple facets of the Algarve.
Faro Cathedral and the rooftops of Faro.
Silves Castle (Castelo dos Mouros, Moorish Castle) located on the top of the hill above the Arade River with its red sandstone walls.
The cliffs of Lagos.
San Lorenzo church near Almancil with its famous tiled walls, typical of the Algarve.
Tavira, Estói, Albufeira , Loulé, the fishing boats of Olhão,
Sagres and its dramatic golden coastline, and the Ria Formosa lagoon where sea birds breed.
Mireille has a passion for photography and design, inspired by her many travels around the world. French by origin, born in Casablanca but having also lived in Tunisia, Bahrain, Paris, HongKong, Switzerland and Mauritius, Mireille has lived a truly eclectic life. Mother of three with five grandchildren, she continues to persue her hobby from her home in the South of France where she currently resides with her husband.
