This is a book about games, but not just any games. This is a book about 'indie games'. What's that? An 'indie game' is a game that is made by either a few developers or small independent without a publisher's financial support. Not much to explain there. Where there is something to explain is in that these games have much different sensibilities and goals than so-called triple-A titles. In recent years they've garnered much acclaim and have come into the spotlight as a result of their hard work and commitment to qualify in various areas. This book showcases their work and commitment to quality in various areas. It will allow you, the reader (and perhaps gamer) to see the work that these fine folks have put into their games, artistically speaking, not just through gameplay. Have a good time!
