For over a decade I have worked as a stained glass artist, absorbing it's history, technique and beauty. I've learned that light shining through colored glass has profound effects. It can be enlightening, as originally intended in churches. I wanted to explore that experience further outside of a religious setting. Incorporating kaleidoscopes into this and beginning a new path to achieve psychedelic effects.
The project came to a conclusion when the author participated in an event called Art In The Open in Philadelphia in June of 2012.
An aesthetic sensibility is far more important than a political or religious one.
